Priya has lived in Carlsbad for more than 20 years. After receiving her undergraduate degree at UCSD, she completed her Master's degree in public health at USC, and her Doctorate in Public Health at Loma Linda University. As a health professional and businesswoman, she has executed on and managed multi-million dollar contracts and has created lasting health initiatives with healthcare agencies, biotech companies, San Diego County, the State of California, and the United Nations.
Priya currently serves as Carlsbad City Council Member, District 3 and Mayor Pro Tem.
