Census Talk with Planned Parenthood and RWR

Join Run Women Run and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest’s Zoom call on the importance of the 2020 Census and helpful tips to ensure your community gets counted. The talk will be moderated by Mabi Castro - Community and Government Relations, Operations Manager And Karen Borja Director of Community Affairs, Riverside.

The Census is a questionnaire that gets sent out every 10 years to all residents to re-allocate resources, redistrict for congressional seats, and much more. A fair and accurate count will help ensure that women and girls receive their fair share of political representation.

Census counting is continuing despite COVID-19 disruption. It continues because now more than ever we know that having an accurate count enables the appropriate level of critical resources to be deployed during a moment like this one. Currently, our state is at risk of being undercounted and we need all hands on deck to advocate and promote filling out the census.
