Run Women Run's Membership Committee plans to double membership by the end of 2010. This involves communicating with the community, at large, about upcoming programs and events, as well as encouraging current attendees of our programs to join Run Women Run. We are also reaching out to groups that, in the past, have been overlooked by other organizations. These include the "Under 40" segment, teens of voting age, and those who live in outlying areas of San Diego County, such as in East County and South County.A special, "Under 40" subcommittee focuses on creating opportunities for our younger members to engage with other politically interested peers. Their social events, however, are open to interested participants of all ages.
