Run Women Run inspires, recruits, trains, mentors and supports pro-choice women for elected and appointed office in San Diego County.
In Run Women Run's first year, members gained a deeper understanding of the political process and what it takes to run a successful campaign. Barbara Bry, founding president of Run Women Run, said "I hope members have a deeper commitment to participate in the political process and in helping pro-choice women candidates get elected in San Diego." Run Women Run is governed by President Michelle Burton, a seven-member Executive Committee that meets quarterly to address policy issues, and an Advisory Board that meets annually to set strategy.
